About Enfilade

What is Enfilade?

Enfilade is client presentation and approval software for architects and interior designers. It turns the floor plan and mood boards a studio already makes into one interactive design book. Clients open it from a private link on any phone, walk through the home room by room, react to each image and approve each room. Every decision is kept on record.

Your first project is free, with everything in it. No card needed.

A client's design book on a phone: the plan, a room's mood board, and the room approved

Who it's for

Architecture practices, interior design studios and design-and-build firms that design homes, apartments, villas, hotels and offices, and need their clients to say yes to the design, room by room.

It suits a solo designer as well as a large practice, in any country. Clients need nothing but a phone or computer with a browser.

What it does

  • Plan in. Drop in a PDF from AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit or SketchUp, or an image. Rooms are marked from the drawing's walls, with names suggested from its room tags.
  • A board for every room. Images from Pinterest, the web or the studio's own files, with a palette, materials, notes and markup.
  • One private link. The client's design book opens on any phone, tablet or computer, with no app, account or password.
  • Feedback on the exact image. Hearts, notes and reference pictures, pinned to the image they are about.
  • Room-by-room approvals. Approve, or ask for changes, signed with a name and a time. Approvals given on a call can be recorded too.
  • Versions and revisions. Every round is kept, and revision rounds are counted against the contract, to be billed or waived.
  • Presentations that build themselves. A full-screen presentation and a PowerPoint, made from the same work.
  • Stages. Interiors, facade and landscape as chapters of one design book.
  • AI where it helps. AI reads plans and suggests room names, and sums up where each room stands. Names are suggested, never applied without the studio.
  • The studio's name first. Clients see the studio's name on every page.

How a project runs

  1. The studio drops in the plan, checks the rooms and names them.
  2. It gives each room its design: images, palette, materials and notes.
  3. It sends the client one link, on WhatsApp, email or anywhere else.
  4. The client and family open the plan, tap a room, heart images, pin notes, and approve the room or ask for changes.
  5. The studio answers the feedback and sends the next version, which the client compares with the last.
  6. Every reaction, approval and revision round stays on record.

The name

An enfilade is a suite of rooms whose doorways line up, so one view runs through them all, as in the state apartments of Versailles or the Winter Palace in St Petersburg. Enfilade borrows the idea: a home presented room by room, in one line of sight, from the first room to the last.

What it costs

The first project is free, with everything in it. After that, a studio pays per project with a Project pass, or takes on as many projects as it likes with Studio: $119 a pass or $59 a month in US dollars, and ₹5,999 or ₹2,999 a month in India. Prices are also set in euros, pounds, dirhams, riyals and Singapore and Australian dollars. Clients never pay for Enfilade.
